Art in All of us
Voices of the world
The AiA World Art Book Program brings together a collection of artwork and poems from local children that participated in AiA's programs around the world, Through a single portrait of a local child, a drawing and a poem done by local children that participated, each of the 192 UN member countries is equally represented in our publication.
In every country we find that children drawing, smiling, and playing, each one giving hope for the future, through the universal method of artistic expression.

All the pictures were taken during the course of school visiting program by international photographers Anthony Asael and Stephanie Rabemiafara. Over 18,000 children have participated from all 192 UN member countries. Their artwork was created during the AiA World Art Book workshops which AiA facilitated around the world between 2005 and 2009. It took 5 long years also to edit and assemble the book
The best pieces made by children were submitted to a committee of poets, authors, and vested individuals from each country. Each piece represents how children view their lives in their respective countries, and together represents a mosaic of the life of a child in that country.
The proceeds from the book will contribute to implementing AiA programs in classrooms to further promote tolerance through Artistic Education in schools around the world.
